Delta Eta Chapter History 

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Delta Eta Chapter, was chartered on Thursday, April 28, 1949, on the campus of Georgia State College, now known as Savannah State University. Chartered by 20 visionary young men, the chapter was established with a commitment to manly deeds, scholarship, and love for all mankind.

 

Since its inception, Delta Eta has upheld a strong, mission-driven legacy while earning a reputation for excellence. The chapter has consistently produced distinguished leaders both within the fraternity and throughout the campus and broader community. From serving in Student Government Association roles to leading various student organizations and excelling in key fraternity offices, the brothers of Delta Eta continue to exemplify leadership, integrity, and impact.
